How a batch controls sessions

A batch isn’t just a student group—it’s the master blueprint for every session under it. Your batch settings control how upcoming sessions look and behave, so key details stay consistent without repeated setup.

Batch Schedule → Session Timing

When you define a batch schedule (days, time, frequency), Lynk uses this information to:

  • Automatically plan upcoming sessions

  • Maintain consistent timing across all sessions

  • Reflect accurate session cadence in your timeline and calendar

This ensures sessions follow a predictable rhythm without manual scheduling every time.

Batch Venue → Session Location

The venue selected at the batch level directly controls how session locations are displayed:

  • Offline batches: Sessions show the physical venue (academy, society, consumer location, etc.)

  • Online batches: Sessions are marked as online, without a physical address

This helps students and coaches clearly understand where a session is happening—without setting it repeatedly.

Batch Students → Session Attendance

The student list added to a batch determines:

  • Who appears in the attendance list for each session

  • Which students receive updates, reminders, and progress tracking

  • How attendance is recorded (per student for group batches)

If students are added or removed from a batch, upcoming sessions automatically reflect those changes.

Why This Matters

By controlling sessions through batches, Lynk ensures:

  • Zero duplication of setup work

  • Clean, predictable session behavior

  • Accurate attendance, venue, and scheduling data

  • A scalable system as your coaching grows

In short, set it once at the batch level—and every session stays aligned.
