What happens when a batch has no students

You can create batches with no students yet, but you’ll need to add students to track attendance and progress meaningfully. Lynk lets you set up and keep batches ready before enrollments start.

1. Batch Setup Still Exists

  • The batch retains its schedule, venue (or online setup), and session cadence.

  • Sessions can still be created and appear on the timeline.

2. No Attendance or Progress Tracking

  • Sessions will not show any students in the attendance list.

  • No progress records or student-specific insights can be captured.

3. Adding Students Later

  • Students can be added and managed anytime via students on the batch card.

  • Once added, future sessions will include them automatically for attendance and tracking.

Why This Is Useful

  • Set up batches in advance before enrollments begin.

  • Avoid recreating schedules or venues when students join later.

  • Maintain operational readiness while enrollment is in progress.
