Attendance states

Attendance in Lynk is captured as a clear, explicit state per student. For every session, each student is marked individually, keeping attendance records simple, accurate, and easy to interpret.

Available attendance states

Present

  • Mark a student as Present if they attended the session

  • This indicates active participation in that class

Absent

  • Mark a student as Absent if they did not attend the session

  • This records non-participation for that session


How to mark attendance

  • Open the relevant session card

  • View the student roster loaded from the batch

  • Mark each student as Present or Absent

  • Attendance is saved as part of the session record
